I made this twice about 11 years ago, but added chicken breast the second time. I've had such a hard time finding the recipe so I could make it again. Here in the US it is so hot in the summer, and this is such a light meal and takes no time slaving over a hot stove. I subscribed just so I wouldn't lose it again.

😤😤😤😤 This is a southern Italian dish! We never ever ever use butter. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL only. The pasta water together with parmigiano grated by hand not in a blender (big difference look it up) will make it creamy.
But have you considered butter and cream make it taste so delicious?

Im from Malta and Pastizzi is our life, they re bloody amazing. Also Marvin a friend of mine and his restaurants in Malta cook up a storm....my favourite is Caviar and Bull. He is one crazy fcker though lol..he wasn t drunk enough or it would have been comedy gold
